Legend says a barefoot Norse raider stood on a thistle and howled, waking the sleeping Scots and saving the day. The prickly flower has been Scotland's emblem ever since, and Wild Thistle Gin is our invented label in its honour, printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. The XS size is right for keys, jewellery and trinkets: small enough for a windowsill, handsome enough for a mantelpiece.
