The Beehive was once one of the most common shop and inn names in Britain, the hive being the Victorian symbol of industry and good order. Our label revives that high street tradition, printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. The XS size is right for keys, jewellery and trinkets: small enough for a windowsill, handsome enough for a mantelpiece.
