Auchtermuchty is a real Fife town with one of the finest names in Scotland; the distillery is our invention. Our label imagines the kind of small Victorian bonded warehouse that once dotted the Kingdom of Fife, printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. The XS size is right for keys, jewellery and trinkets: small enough for a windowsill, handsome enough for a mantelpiece.
