For two centuries wool was Scotland's quiet empire: Borders mills, herringbone and tweed, and merchants' names painted proudly above Edinburgh shopfronts. Our Edinburgh Wool Co. mark borrows from that tradition, hand-stencilled onto sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the stencil edges and the small tool marks are the point. The small size organises craft supplies, bathroom essentials or the post that needs a home: a working box that earns its shelf space.
