Look up above old Scottish shopfronts and you will still find them: faded family names painted a century ago and never quite gone. Murray Bros. is our invented merchant's mark in that ghost sign tradition, printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. The large size takes books, blankets and records, or earns its keep as a planter, log store or display crate.
