John Brown & Co. of Clydebank built the ships that made Clydebuilt a byword for quality: the Lusitania, the Queen Mary and the QE2 all went down its slipways into the Clyde. This box tips its cap to that great yard, with a vintage-style John Brown mark printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. The large size takes books, blankets and records, or earns its keep as a planter, log store or display crate.
