A nod to the grand age of the corsetière, when drapers' adverts in the back pages of Victorian papers promised whalebone, lace and perfect deportment. Our Jacobean Corsetry mark is an affectionate invention in that tradition, printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. The XS size is right for keys, jewellery and trinkets: small enough for a windowsill, handsome enough for a mantelpiece.
