In the folklore of Scotland's northern isles, selkies are seal-folk who shed their skins to walk ashore, and woe betide anyone who hides one. Selkie Gin is our invented label in tribute to those stories, printed in full colour on sustainably sourced pine.

Each box is made by hand in our family's workshop in Central Java, by craftspeople we know by name. The grain, the printed label and the small tool marks are the point. This is our biggest box: blanket chest, toy box or log store, built to be used and not just admired.
