Our Founder

I'm Elle, an artist and designer born and raised on the island of Java. I have a fascination for history and all things unusual, which was shaped from growing up around the antique industry.

As the creative heart and soul of Green Man Emporium, I now work from my home studio in Scotland, where I design — and handcraft some of the pieces you will find in our Emporium.

Our Workshop

Based in Central Java our family-run workshop has been running for the last 25 years. Some people in this image have even been there since day 1!
